How do you keep awake

Sunderland

I’m not allowed to sleep tonight and this is way past my bedtime already. I’ve normally napped mid afternoon and my eyes are dropping.

I have tea, alarms set to go every hour but what do you do to keep awake. Reading and watching films makes me even more sleepy.

Ah actually me too, I did think about purposely making myself cold. But then I’d be even more miserable

Try coffee, Diet Coke or Red Bull, Lex. Not all three together though, you'd be awake for days!

"Try coffee, Diet Coke or Red Bull, Lex. Not all three together though, you'd be awake for days!"

I am making regular cups of tea. Which is in turn making me get up to go to the toilet and I’m going to the upstairs one just for the effort

You know I’ve never had an energy drink, maybe now was the time to change that

It may well be the time to change that I'll open a can of Red Bull and you can have a sip if you like

On a mooch

I find keeping active, focusing the brain, for me I draw or play a game.

Reading or watching tv makes me sleepy as I lie down to do it

Hope you find something that works for you

I’m usually never someone who has a problem sleeping. I spend way too much of my life asleep these days

I’m having some tests tomorrow and so I’m not allowed to sleep tonight, hopefully I’ll have better results if I manage it.

I work permenant nights, I used to fall asleep. It's a case of just getting used to it. So much so that I just had 7 weeks off work as I am term time only and I didn't sleep one night in the holidays! I am now a permenant night owl and this is my day time
