I have a dog called Dexter and a cat called Stormy that I found abandoned by its mother in my shed when he was 2 weeks old. There had just been a wild thunderstorm, hence his name.

Our cats all have regular, common names. Our chicken have old lady names, as all chickens should have

The only exception to naming is our snake, he’s called Raoul. When we were discussing getting a snake I asked hubby what we should call him and one of the cats made a weird meow which sounded like Raoul

It was funny when vet called me and said that she's a boy

I (her) have had cats called:-

Jakey named by my daughter after tv show Tweenies.

Cozzie named after Cosmo Kramer from Seinfeld tv show.

Bella named after Twilight films

Zizou named after Zidane (French footballer)

Holly named by my son, no particular reason.

Pharaoh because he was a siamese cat.

P (him) had dogs called Wolf, Phoenix and Luna but I don't know why those names were chosen.
