I've decided I cba with the meets where they have very specific instructions on what you have to wear and look like.

I am in awe of the TVs who take hours and hours to do make up. That's some commitment.

But equally I'm shocked just how many people feel the need to emphasise that they "smell nice".

My regular fb often cycles over to meet me... Good job I like him sweaty!

your imagination

Distance really. I've travelled quite a bit to meet folk in the past. Aside from that I make the same effort with appearance, lingerie, etc., for any meet, doesn't matter if it's the 1st time or the 101st time we've met. When I was laid up with an injury last year I couldn't go to get waxed... I was like a llama Boo said he didn't care about my wooly bits... But I did!!

A shed-load of kit, a 3hr drive and a full day's walk.... uphill.

Does that count?

I'm glad I'm not the only who wipes the old beef curtains before a meet

Most effort was probably; a whole new outfit, having to rearrange all family commitments and then driving for 2 hours when I'd never driven further than 10 miles from my village before Good job it was worth it

Exeter, Bristol, Plymouth, Truro

I dont treat anyone any different to if I was meeting someone from real life. I look the same, wear the same, smell the same. I dont do "fab meets" play partners or any of those other phrases we use for this place. If I'd not meet you in real life then I'll not be meeting you at all. I'm looking for something with a little longevity......

I like to make sure I put in maximum effort! Just make sure you get the sensitive ones, the normal ones can sting! Nobody wants a stinging vag when you want abit of the old rumpy pumpy.

I often meet someone directly after his weekend football match, if it's run late he doesn't always get a chance to shower. I keep my fingers crossed it's run late

I always dress in nice underwear, and a dress that’s easy to come off. I regularly travel to a meet and stay overnight x

On a mooch

The effort comes beforehand, the logistics of when where, but most importantly building the connection so when you do meet, you both just know it’s so right.... everything else like clothes, etc is superficial and irrelevant

Hefty Hideaway

I once spent a small fortune on my train ticket and a plush hotel suite for a long term meet. He cancelled citing childcare which was fair enough but the pictures on the profile of the lady he managed to hook up with instead proved otherwise. I can laugh about my stupidity now.

Since then my effort level has been standard. I no longer go out so far out of my way for a meet.

.

I rearranged a quite important meeting and still got to stay in the wankfest of a hotel for no real reason. He rearranged flying to Hong Kong to spend time with me. They didn't take *that* much effort but it's the best I have.

I straightened my hair

Usually I just wash and dry it then make it look presentable.

Even though my hair looked different in the morning, the meet was worth it

I always put a lot of effort in and its relative really.

I used to have a partner I would travel to that was a 6/7 hour round trip but we would spend a full weekend together.

A previous Fwb I would take gin, platters or posh picnics from my local deli. dress for him. I took a week off work and booked for us to go away together. Yet he still ditched me for someone he had never met

And lastly I drove on a 4.5 hour round trip to meet for a coffee with the guy I've just started seeing. Was worth it

I've learnt the hard way now to only put in effort where I know it will be returned

As others have said whether it's the 1st meet or 10th I still put the same effort in. This is into my appearance and to be there on time, I'm often late. Even when I think I haven't put much effort in, I have.

I will probably feel like I have to put more effort into my next meet, it's not a 1st meet (I've lost count already.) But this is down to how I am feeling, not because I feel I have to for him. I like putting effort in knowing it will be appreciated
