I left my home at the age of 19 to try a new life abroad. It's been tough at times but I've never regretted it.

from Home Counties to Middle Earth

Waaaay too many to list - I love spontaneous opportunities.

Given consideration, I probably wouldn't have done most of my best times. Better therefore to just go for it!

Had to free-dive for over 5 minutes almost losing my life to rescue 2 incredibly cute puppies that were thrown down a deep well by evil owners.

I was technically dead for 21 minutes but it was worth it to see their sad little eyes after, they went on to be guide dogs for the blind

Then I set up an orphanage for kiddies losing their parents in Syria but that’s a different story altogether ...

When I fell pregnant with our youngest me and hubby decided our business at the time had gone as far as we could take it so we sold up, took a 2 year lease out on a warehouse and threw ourselves into a completely new business venture that we didn't know toonmuch about. Just had the the will to make it work and 5 years later we are still going strong with that.

ended up working in a job I love and didn't even know existed

Climbed down the hard part of Ben Nevis, no equipment, in shirt and shorts in 70 mph wind, rain and sleet.

Fun times but terrifying!

I left my partner of 18 years with 3 kids in tow. I left everything behind all my possessions and started from scratch. Not so much risky but scary in it's way.
