So Ben Elton has announced a new stand up tour. I was a big fan back in the day but its been a long time since he has done stand up but let's face it there is plenty of political material out there. Anyone else looking to buy tickets or has the world moved on from thatch jokes for you ?

I was never keen on him as a stand up but love his books. I'd definitely be interested to see that though now I'm older and more politically aware.

I then went and watched a YouTube clip and thought 'nah, you still are pretty annoying in person'! Maybe he's mellowed though, would still give it a shot.

I'm unsure if he's a little too big headed to enjoy. I'll watch for free and possibly if he's any good, would go and see him live
