Pretty much any site you upload pictures to will be of a lower quality than the original. Shouldn't make them drastically different though, they'll just lose a bit of clarity

Every time you upload, send a picture it degrades. Some software does mac os and I phones/pads can do it to save on memory etc ...check your settings. If it is already heavily degraded the uploading will further reduce resolution
