Hypothetical question of course...

If you were being kept in solitary confinement, other than physical abuse, what one thing could they do to you that would really tip you over the edge?

Constant darkness?

Constant light?

Non-stop silence?

Non-stop noise?

Or something else?

OK Ive been watching too many prison dramas, but I think I would go absolutely doolally with never-ending noise....

Seriously though, think it would be noise for me too....I enjoy silence, if it's light I can cover my eyes, if it's dark I can retreat into my imagination....

Depends on the noise, i would end up making a song to go along with it

For me total darkness, never knowing what is in the room with you, many people could retreat to their imagination (as mentioned) but in that situation i think my imagination would be the last place i would want to be in

No idea what they find to talk about at that time of night, for god sake

Love the sounds of the country - we have owls in our barn, so many types of bird it's impossible to count them, deer, foxes, squirrels, badgers .........
