We’ve just come back from a great holiday.

Himself is pale. Very.

Is it worth him having a sun bed.

No,UV is very bad for the skin. If he is going to do it at all he needs short exposures in sunlight to gradually build it up. Although personally I think pale is better.

Just trying to get a few other opinions.

Although. I do have a good tan.

I wouldn't but its a personal choice and if he does don't over do it.
