It's always a lyric or a character from a book. Current one, which I now hate because I've realised it's either mistaken for genitals or a misspelling of congenial, is a character from Iain Banks novels. The next one is gonna be a recurring character from David Mitchell (no not the peep show guy) novels

We picked ours from one of “our” songs. I found it hard to choose, I dislike the lewd sexual names and they make me pause before answering people. I like random and irreverent or clever names.
