Does a anyone look at or respond to winks?

I send a wink to gauge any interest before messaging and getting no response?

Are winks ignored? Views please.

I do this too from time to time, I'll wink and see if they view my profile before I consider messaging. I usually only do it with new users though as they probably have half the site chasing them already.

Has a wink ever led to anything, no it hasn't.
