Grandparents have no legal right to access grandchildren, so unless they change the law, human right doesn't come into it.

It's down to the individuals involved to discuss access.

ie no restraining orders or past problems mistreating children.

No, if you are a parent you have every right to control who sees your child, regardless of relationship.

We're lucky our kids had two sets of lovely grandparents. Not everyone is that fortunate

I think they should have right to access but NOT the same as a parent. Perhaps twice a year at a public place.

It just feels cruel that if the parents have a fall out then they should punish the grandparents.
