Best song from a musical

I’m not especially a friend of Dorothy but last week I went to see Wicked. A great production and the two star actresses were fantastic singers. But the songs were just a bit meh

The Greatest Showman has a couple of fantastic songs, High School Musical too and if The Timewarp isn’t in the top ten I demand a recount.

Which ones do you like?

I saw the current production of Evita at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre the other week, it was surprisingly excellent as I wasn’t sure I’d rate Evita.

Summertime from Porgy and Bess has got to be one of the best musical tunes.

I went to see the lesser performed Porgy and Bess a few years ago. I think I read that Summertime is the second most coveted song after My Way.

See I don't know why guys associate musical theatre with 'the gays'

They are a feast for everyones ears and eyes

I don't particularly enjoy the cinema, but live shows, generally, enthrall and captivate me

I become completely engrossed and lose my sense of self
