Ever had a meet where you found it very difficult holding a conversation with someone with an accent?

Or just simply been put of by an accent?

Certain accents do nothing for me.

However, a deep voice can turn my knees into jelly, whatever is the accent.

I like most foreign accents...

But I meant our own ones....

Not just Scottish/English/Irish/Welsh..

More the dialects of towns/cities...

Glasgow and Liverpool come to mind as some things are easy to understand but some sound just like Vietnamese.

Yes Welsh... I actually cringe... Not meaning to offend anyone... Blame it on my step mother.

i do not come fom the place where we live, so the people here think i " have an accent" however at home they now believe i do not speak how they do and so they think i " have an accent".

My response is that i just speak like me, it is everyone else who has a funny accent.
