Up on them there hills

Could have been willy of paw,

Most disturbing.

The story was I think in three parts.

If you had the monkeys part you could make a wish that would come true.

A lady (me thinks) asked for her son to be brought back to her from his recent death.

Her son walked into the room screaming, full of embalming fluids,

If you had a monkeys ear, willy or paw what would you wish for?

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

It was a monkeys paw and it was a short story as part of a film (Hammer maybe) and I think they were all sat in a train carriage telling tales.

"It was a monkeys paw and it was a short story as part of a film (Hammer maybe) and I think they were all sat in a train carriage telling tales."

There was a juxtaposition of being stormy outside and being comfortable inside.

Time for google me thinks.

I couldn't be arsed to Google and relied on the few remaining brain cells but does drat mean I'm correct?

Staines

"The Monkey's Paw" is a supernatural short story by author W. W. Jacobs first published in England in the collection The Lady of the Barge in 1902. In the story, three wishes are granted to the owner of the monkey's paw, but the wishes come with an enormous price for interfering with fate."
