FFS how many times have dog owners got to be told, do not subject your dogs to being out in this extreme heat at events etc, saw some having to be hosed down by the fire brigade yesterday at a rally[spaniels] looked as if they were gone beyond it I hope they survived and the owners were given a horse whipping for being so damn stupid, leave them at home in the coolest place possible. My daughter is a vet and every year the same they get a number of dogs in after being left in cars it beggars belief.

Yep, dogs and kids. Keep them cool and indoors during the hottest part of the day

It is awful isn't it year in year out we see the same level of stupidity.

I took my dog out around 11 last night, cool ground and he could explore and enjoy his walk

My sister was subjected to some vile abuse from a random stranger out of a passing car as she walked her dog 5mins between the car park and the vets during a warm day. Fair or unfair?

Although there are a lot of stupid people out there who don't seem aware of the dangers this hot weather poses to pets, some people are so quick to judge and love an opportunity to have a pop.

Down here it absolutely amazes me how many people take them all day to the dog friendly beaches! Yes you want to spend the day cooking on the beach but doubt they do!

Wouldn't dream of taking the dog to an all day event. He's had a walk around the woods early doors before it gets to hot. Now he's chilled out in the corner with the fan on him to
