Im with 3 agencies, working various hours for each, ive been hit with another emergency tax code. For those in my position, is it easier to just leave it and get it back at the end of the tax year or endlessly contact hmrc?

Warehousing, driving, shop and pub work. The hmrc seem not to be geared for thr gig economy and slapping emergency tax codes around

So are you down as PAYE with agency or self employed?

If you contact the HMRC you used to be able to have your tax free allowance set against the different agencies you work for and that reduces your tax otherwise they might set it all against the agency you do the most work for.

The HMRC might be able to send you one tax code which applies to all the agencies you work for.

I would phone them up and ask them for help.
