If I drink something really hot it puts me off wanting to pick at things. I have loads of herbal tea, black coffee or cup'a'soup with loads of pepper.

If healthy, try water fasting. 2/3 days on just water. You stop feeling hungry after a day. Odd pang and then it stops.

Then OMAD. One meal a day. Easy

Ive heard about water fasting. A friend lost a few lbs in a week doing it. Does it straighten out your appetite after?

I lost 11 pounds in 3 days. But you stop feeling hungry. Now....you don’t have to plan, you don’t count calories so easy. Break fast with veg juice....but best bet...only have food in the house you need...and drink vodka and Diet Coke!!!

Isn't that 11lbs mainly water retention though, which drops off because you're suddenly drinking a lot more water and your body doesn't feel like it has to stockpile it any more? Wouldn't it go back on pretty quickly if you went back to drinking less?

Sandwich

Eat more protein. Start with yoghurt first thing in the morning. Even if you don’t like to eat early, you can force yourself to eat a yoghurt. Continue to eat enough protein (and other good food) during the day and you shouldn’t feel like bingeing in the evening when what you are trying to do is fill the emptiness in your intestines that you didn’t fill with the right stuff during the day.

I don’t think I can get this all in on one post but...

We have been sold an absolute pack of lies by successive governments bodies and the food manufacturers.

We are constantly told to eat low fat as it’s the healthiest food option but it’s a lie!

The problem with low fat foods are they are high in sugar (Carbohydrates)

When we eat Carbs our body release insulin and if we can’t use the carbs straight away then insulin stores the carbs as FAT.

our bodies can’t burn fat whilst there is insulin in the system

If you go on a high fat diet then your body will stop producing insulin and start producing ketones, Ketones will burn the fat from your body.

Here is a little known fact

Let’s say you eat cabs until you have had your fill, your stomach will process this in about TWO HRS!

The same amount but high fat will keep you feeling full for SIX HRS

KETO is the answer to your problem

Me too. I've gained so much weight since having my little one late last year. I'm constantly hungry and comfort eating due to stress. I'm starting to feel really unhappy with my body so when I'm back off holiday next week I'm going to start jogging and logging my calories.

I find logging calories and planning meals really helps. You have to be so strict with yourself at first but then it just becomes part of your routine and gets easier.

Protein and fat are more satiating than carbohydrates (but also more calorie dense, so balance).

Emotional eating is a different thing to watch out for.

Sometimes I just feel the need to chew and use chewing gum for that.

There are sufficient papers to prove it...

There are other diets out there like Atkins that can cause issues but KETO is better as it’s more balanced

Additionally i use Keto from time to time and I would highly recommend it.

Yes

I 'stress eat'

Buying a new house, having a poorly parent and a poorly pet and being in a hectic job that I don't particularly enjoy is fuelling some bad habits at the minute

I try fkin hard to keep weight off by keeping healthier snacks in, but I am like a scoffing machine at the minute

I've managed, to date, to stay in the same clothing size, but I can feel it's gotten a bit tighter in the last couple of weeks

There is a lot of bad advice about best thing to do is see a nutritional therapist or other professional rather than ask advice from strangers that know nothing about you then they will be able to help with all the issues it's never one size fits all

There is LOADS of information out there,

you don’t have to by what i’m selling but be open minded enough to watch “the magic pill” on Netflix,

Once you’ve watched it drop me a message and we can discuss it further

Good grief. Does every diet thread have to turn into keto wars?

Some people think it works. Others don't. The OP can take suggestions and look into it for herself. This is no place to get into the nitty gritty of it.

Try not buying snacks and stuff so that your not making it easy for yourself. The stomach remembers eating patterns so it expects food if your eating throughout the day. You probably just need to train yourself to only eat at regular times.

I only eat 1 main meal a day in the evening and don't snack all that much.
