North of The Wall - youll need your vest

Seeing as the forum is the font of all knowledge....

Ive just cooked some fish for dinner - which was delicious by the way - but now the house stinks.

Other than air freshener and burning candles, any other top tips for getting rid of the smell quickly?

That sounds good - will have to find my spray bottle though....

I dont suppose an anal douche would work quite the same

Yeah smash all the windows and doors open with a sledge hammer and remove the fire place completely to open the air vents right up.

I also recomend wearing a dust mask due to health n safety and all that tickle tackle.

Hope this helps yeah and hey leave the washing up for a while you put ya feet up and enjoy ur evening. Wrap up warm tho its going to get windy afterwards x

X marks the spot kiddo. Thats a great point and glad you have raised it. ALWAYS chalk up your first point of contact with an X when using a sledge hammer.

Be very careful that X aint over the feckin water or gas main tho or you may fing the house will take care of its self leaving you far less strenuous work to do. Giving you all the time in the world to fill in those insurance numpty forms

hmmmm Timbers DIY tips folks me thinks this could catch on???

Damn i forgot to say leave plenty of room for bubbles to form and then evaporate before using. It does work really well as it's naturally antibacterial and odour eliminating

My house smells of garlic and burnt flesh, and the steak was very tasty, and the pets agree too!

Central

Bicarbonate of Soda will get rid of most smells, and wouldn't have to be sprayed, as it will absorb, even if dry.
