I went to cambridge once, I found it strange that a barmaid didnt want to serve drinks at lunch time. Either way I didnt like it.

Brighton - even Hove!

"god Cambridge is boring on here"
you could remove the ‘on here’ and still be right.

There and to the left a bit

Define "boring" OP - if you mean that no-one local wants to meet you or no-one local interests you then perhaps look at what you can do to change that. For instance there are two clubs within relatively easy reach of Cambridge - maybe try them.

Living just south of Cambridge as I do, I think it's a lovely city with lots going for it and anything but boring.

Cambridge is a classy place and I'm proud to say it is more than the two universities. Where else can you swim naked in a river while punts float by, and socialise with hedonists who enjoy the fine things in life? H

Yeh, a flat bottom boat of The Fens. Tell me more if 'punt' has another meaning. I know what it rhymes with!

Maldon

It’s a vibrant, horny and beautiful city. The true centre of East Anglia. Has its own micro climate. Often described as “the California of Great Britain”.

Also, some of the sexiest swingers in the country. No ‘time wasters ‘ here.

I wholeheartedly agree with what has been written about this city. As an aside, I wonder if you knew that one of its reclusive residents, Roger 'Syd' Barrett, of early Pink Floyd was inspired by his home town to write 'Arnold Layne' about a local who was nicking women's underwear from washing lines including Roger Waters' mum.

I couldn't be as I am not old enough. I'm not sure the Cambridge underwear thief was ever found. Perhaps there is more information on the Internet about this transvestite. By the way,the stuffy BBC banned it when it came out in the 1960s.

Love Cambridge! Punting round the Univeristy with a glass of fizz is fab. Some great places to eat/drink. We’ve had a couple of fun meets whilst staying there too
