Bearded Dragons

Woke up to 24 bearded dragon eggs this morning,,put them in a tub of peat and sand under the heat lamp,Anyone have any advice/tips or chances of survival,looked online and most say will lose most if not all..cheers lounge..

if you have 24 bearded dragon eggs does that mean they hatch into little James Khans?

Ah that's wonderful, have a look online and join a reptile group, it's usually about £20 a year subscription but there's lots of good advice and regular online clinics. I have equatic turtles but have never successfully had any eggs hatch, it can be quite upsetting. Fingers crossed and good luck x

Dont keep them under the heat lamp as too high a heat will kill them . Get an incubator asap and some vermiculite which should be sprayed with water at least once a week , making sure you avoid spraying the eggs . I have 4 beardies and used to breed them but if you go to your local reptile store they should give lots of advice . Good luck with your beardies and hope all goes well but try if possible to separate your adults as they will breed again straight away and you will end up with more eggs in 3 months time . K

you can buy hatching boxes/vis from your local supplier, they will have good advice, they may even take them and incubate them, for a share of the price you can sell them for

You could try keeping the eggs in a hidden plastic container at the cool side of your tank until you get an incubator . It doesnt have to be an expensive one , a polystyrene lid box with a heat mat and thermostat will do . K
