Do you buy into them ?

I am cynical, but someone showed me this and I thought 'fkin ell, this is me !'

Underneath their cool, calm and collected exterior, Taureans differ greatly from all the other signs of the zodiac.

Taureans manage to discreetly stay apart from the crowd, even though they have a well-earned reputation for being socialisers.

They will let others get close, but only so close as they want them.

Some claim that trying to get your point across to a Taurean, should they not want to hear you, is rather similar to talking to the trees – they simply won't budge.

And, there is no such thing as an open-book Taurean. Their feelings, fears and desires often run far deeper than anyone around them would guess.

Like the butterfly that chooses to remain hidden in its cocoon until it is ready and prepared to emerge, so the true Taurean spirit remains hidden behind a veneer of day-to-day activities. That's why Taureans are sometimes regarded as snobby, withdrawn, boring, or even sulky.

This sign is also very closely connected to 'feeling good'.

Most Taureans like their creature comforts and hate change because it takes them out of their automatic pilot condition of separating themselves from the world around them.

Because they hate to be put in jeopardy of any kind, this is the sign that strives to create tomorrow in advance, rather than leave it to fate.

In love, Taureans are regarded as extremely sensual beings. An earth sign, they deal well with the personal, physical senses and consequently all the pleasures associated with what they can see, touch, smell and taste, add up to a special delight to them.

My star sign is Aries.....have just goggled it out of interest.

The site I looked at broke it down into different sections and had keywords....some of it I would agree with but other parts not at all.

Yes I do.. Master is Aries and me saggitarius and we are very compatible yet when we fall out its pretty explosive..

I do follow it but just not the ones they put in the papers etc.. but get one done for your specific birthdate and time is normally quite accurate.

considering the whole idea was dreamnt up a long time ago,the sun doesnt actually match up with its supposed star sign now.so there is a big flaw in the idea straight away.

you can read any star sign and apply it to your own.they are just too vague to be accurate.

i find the whole idea that where 8 planets are in their journey around the sun should have any impact on the people living on one of thos circling planets laughable

its just adding bad science to something scientific

I tend to believe in proven science so therefore I am not a believer in star signs and people adhering to particular traits.

We can make ourselves believe anything if we want, the mind is a powerful tool. Most of us will attribute part of our personality to what our particular star sign says about us.

I am a Virgo. I am obsessional about tidiness and a perfectionist. I do not believe I am like this because I was born between August and September

Astrology is a complex science. The media astrologists have to be far to general to be accurate.

Logic should tell us that any given day cannot be the same for countless thousands of peeps.

That said, I also think logic tells us that the planets and their movements would be bound to affect us in some way, so I am open minded about it.

I think I fit the generic Aquarius "type" fairly well.

I am a very typical Libran, with a good mix of the positives along with the negatives

I have had two boyfriends in the past who were Capricorns, one was all the negative traits and the other was all the positive traits... they were so alike but so different at the same time lol!

i was also sceptical,until my son read out the traits of a scorpio.

it read,scorpio,sexual masters of the universe.

it was so accurate,it sent a shiver down my spine.

Am a taurean and I have butterflies that do not stay hidden long, thats about all that applies to me. I dont think anyone who has met me would describe me as staying discreetly away from a crowd

Have just read my stars for today and it said nowt about me losing a tenner on the Gold Cup, having a great laugh on a works social afternoon, tripping over my own feet on the way to get the train home and getting piss wet thru walking back to mine.....so it's all bollocks obviously

I don't see how some distant star constellation, which may now not even be in existence, could have much of an impact, nor how the billions of people in the world could be grouped into 12 types I do believe that genetics and environmental experience influences the development of who we are... but largely the immediate environment, rather than something from millions of miles away ... that's the cynical me.

However, my star sign profile does seem to most closely resemble who I am and how I live, but purely anecdotal fluff, in my book, and I'm not aware of any psychological research that backs astrology up.
