Like most women i go and get my eye brows threaded ever few weeks, i prefer threading to waxing and i always go to asian ladies as i just think they are better at it

Anyhoo, a new beauty salon as opened near me and i was walking by and saw it was run by asian ladies so thought im going to try there as its much closer than where i usualy go, so went in for a nose and check their prices and what they offered etc as you do and on their price list it had arm pit threading!!

im adding nothing more to that than....would you?

Threading is lot more effective than waxing as kills the hair follicle of quicker than waxing n over period of time u need threading done less n less n ur less probe to I growing hairs,no chemicals n u can have it done all over can be more painful if not done in right way I prefer threading to waxing smoother finish n gets right to root when done, not sure if I'd have it done on my armpits though... When waxing u use hot wax n cloth, threading is just thread like cotton. When waxing hot wax evenly applied to area with hair growth n cloth applied rubbed down on area then ripped off, threading is cotton in hand wound round and used in technique that is I would class amazing n very fast where close it round hair n remove in movement can't really describe lol

Nooooo...

I get my eyebrows threaded ... (which I find slightly sorer than waxing) .. and I have had my underarms waxed once, which I found sorer than waxing anywhere else.

So no chance would I get my underarms threaded!!

Yep, when I first saw it on my friend who lives abroad I was totally amazed and has it done there. Was about £150 abroad and makes a real difference to your face.

Recently had them topped up in Canterbury (lasted about 3 years til fading) cost me about £250 the pair and was a good job too.

ok what about minge threading?

no they didnt offer this just wondering who would? lol

i have to say if someone did do it i would be tempted as it takes about 6 weeks for my brows to start growing back, imagin a smooth muff for 6 weeks? has to at least be worth a shot?

threading is done by holding the ends of a cotton thread in wor one hand and teeth, the middle of the thread is twisted and held in other hand. Thread is then pulled back and forth between hand and mouth causing the thread to spiral and turn. The twisted part of the thread is then placed over the hair to be removed and the twisting action works like a very effective epilator

South West London / Surrey

Have seen a few places that do eyebrow threading but have never had it done myself.

I pluck my own as I'm tight

As for armpit threading, just the thought of it makes me go

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

I have my eyebrows threaded, and like NN I go to Asian ladies because I think they always do a really good job.

My eyebrows are very fine and light coloured, and probably dont even need doing, but I go because they always do a really good shape.

Armpits or any other bits would be a no from me though. Ouch
