They do tend to make your bell end swell up pretty big when hard and if you wear a thick band make it feel very weighty.

I just slide mine on when I'm semi, it just holds in place on its own just under the ridge of your bell end when you are hard it really isn't going anywhere. It maybe helps that I'm circumcised.

Look online there are a few places sell them, to be fair the one I'm wearing on my profile isn't actually a glans ring it's just a stainless steel ring I bought off eBay as I wanted something thicker and heavier, it's 6mm stainless steel .

It definitely wouldn't come off me , but I guess everyone's anatomy is different.

I've worn it and got really hard without causing any pain or discomfort, it makes the bell end swell really big.
