Pretty much, depends what it is really. If it’s something I can feel or smell is ok I’ll eat it. Things like yoghurts I’ll eat a day late maybe but not much longer

There’s a guy at work who would drink milk at 23.59 on the last day but at 00.01 he’d point blank refuse and he’d pour it away.

Don't really look at them. Just use sense. If it's off its chucked if not it's eaten.

If it’s chicken I don’t risk it(not sure why) everything else if it looks and smells ok, no dramas.

Things like milk I never check just give it a sniff.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist but I think a lot of it is just to keep us buying.

Best before just means it will taste better.

Use by means use by as bacteria will develop especially if not stored properly.

If it looks and smells OK, I eat it.

The only thing to be more careful with if seafood.

No, i see little point in wasting good food because of some arbitrary number stamped on the packet.

Meats, I ensure are cooked thoroughly. Dairies are easy to tell when they're ready for the bin. Veg', I tend to use in curries and stews, so they end up softer than they would be if left.

We're careful with fish and chicken. The rest we'll use use our senses to decide. I am a lot more cautious than Jen though!
