"I wish I found it addictive, I enjoy it once I’ve done it but I I don’t find it addictive. I would like to get back into it " I strongly recommend bbc app couch to 5k. This got me started and I cant stop now. It doesn't over stretch you it is really good for newbies like myself. Was surprised day one 1 did 2.3 km walking and running

Was surprised day one 1 did 2.3 km walking and running " In view of your user name and pic I just got really confused by your reference to the BBC app! But you are right, couch to 5km is brilliant for runners and I think it is what had led to the huge number taking up running. And yes I find it addictive, partly for the endorphins and partly because it clicks with my obsessive tendancies

"I had breakdown couple of years ago and started running. It helped me a lot gave me some time on my own and pushing myself to go further each run took my mind off my depression. I feel much better now and have joined a gym and bought a push bike do exercise most days. I find keeping fit in general is a positive step to feel better about myself " Totally! I've been feeling so great lately about myself in general that part of me thinks I'm ready to come off the antidepressants. This is all down to the new lifestyle I've adopted. I fast for 20-24 hours, eat one meal a day and workout most days for twice a day. So far I've lost just under 3 stone in 8 weeks, I feel the fittest I've ever felt and my mood is totally lifted.
