Because they are nosey and nasty. Everyone on here should be able to express themselves in their profiles as the wish without being made feel bad by someone they do not know.

Probably comes from people asking questions as to "why can't I find..."

"Why don't bla bla bla"

When in fact if they read their own profile wording the answer is staring them in the face.
