The crowd, a throthing mass of anger and incredulity, circle me.

I guard my prize, they want to take it from me. I search my bag and fashion a spear from the biro ineers, a shield from a sketch pad.

Some of the ink leaks, I spread it across my face and chest. I'm ready.

They send out their champion, the fools think the guy will defeat me, he has something to gain, I have something to protect, I have the upper hand.

We fight, not like knights of old but like animals, tearing, biting, scratching. I throw him down and stand triumphantly over his corpse.

That's when the madness of the crowd takes over, they all rush me at once, I'm overwhelmed, my spear falls, my shield is ripped apart.

I concede, beaten I sit down, I may have lost but my ancestors are proud.

Seriously, why can I never have a window open in the bus?

I suggest a career change. If you become a bus driver you get to choose who gets on the bus plus you have your own window.
