Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's that tense night before the A level results. In a week it's the GCSE results.

I hope your young people do well and if they don't that you can help them see it's not the end of the world.

I hope your night before isn't too tense. I'm trying not to predict too much.

Good luck.

Congratulations to everyone who got their vocational results today.

Are you waiting for any this year?

In our day we either went in to school or waited for the post. I remember my group of friends standing in a circle opening our envelopes at the same time for our O Levels.

Yeah, it's my daughter collecting her A levels.

Luton

I work in a school... Very difficult time of year. I always spare a thought for those who don't achieve what they hoped and remind them that I messed up my A-levels first time around... Retook them and ended up with degrees in physics and mathematics.

Fingers crossed that her work all came together for the results she wants/needs.

I'm going in to school with my A level person, even though they can get the results online.

My very young cousin didn't get the result they needed in one subject last year as they'd been in hospital for months before the exam. They did the year again so I have fingers crossed for them too.

I hope you got the results you had been hoping for.

My two young relatives both got theirs and both going to the same uni, although they've never met and will be doing very different things.

I'm so happy and relieved as their journeys have been dogged by challenges. I'm actually beaming with pride.

"Negetive"

Challenge? Re-sit's? Negotiate for a different course, if going to uni?

Sorry!

Fingers are crossed. My second go round at this. Feeling quietly confident.
