i compare myself to those who have it worse off than me and try to make myself grateful for small mercies. I do sometimes look at more attractive people and wish i had a little bit of what they have but then i wouldnt be me

I believe we all do this but subliminally. Some of us are aware when we are doing it and others are not.

The comparison is not necessarily just physical, we need to weigh up ourselves vis a vis others in order to negotiate things in life and especially at work.

So I think we all do it, admit it or not.

Professionally yes, not in my current role, but in a previous role I would compare myself to the men who were doing a similar role.

And, whilst I don't compare myself to these ladies, I do admire 3 ladies who post on these forums. They are all older than me but they embrace their sexuality, age, bodies etc and are incredibly sexy and confident. I hope I'm the same when I hit my 50s.

We are a normal average 50's couple...i'm a size 18 & John is a stocky build so we are not models but we & comfortable with ourselves, we enjoy life to the full & have made many friends over the years with our adventures.

With us it's what you see is what you get i'm afraid lol!

We meet a lot of varied people including models all ages,shapes & sizes so we compare the personalities rather than the looks as its these that are sexual.
