Why do people hide their faces on here?

I have spent most of my life working in the public eye, I probably get recognised now & again by the odd Fabber when i`m out & about, But i`m not ashamed of being on this site or the fact that i`m looking for sex.

So why do so many hide their faces?

Maybe because some peoples friends and family wouldn't approve. People don't want their kids getting a hard time when their parents are found out to be on here. Glad you feel comfortable enough not to hide it's great

The reasons are different for everyone. For me - I don't want every Dick, Tom or Harry to know I'm a swinger. As still, even in 21st century, it is not fully acceptable in the society for women to be enjoying a NSA sex life.

I don’t want my face on here and neither does Mr ( although I care more I think) I don’t have shame, happy to share the pic via messages.

I have a child in school, i don’t want to be recognised by people in every day who have seen our naked bodies. We also have a business and would not like to run into customers or have them stumble across.

It’s our choice to be private and discreet or not. Some people have clauses at work about behaviour, some are teachers and would not want parents to see them, some are afraid to have anyone they know find them.

But for the women you will risk some random bloke after seeing you are a swinger will think they will have a right to approach you asking for sex, or holding the info over your head, can’t see that happening to a bloke

Also judgement for a woman is much harsher

Bad wife, bad mother, bad daughter, bad sister, people always judge women more harshly along these lines whilst a bloke can enjoy being a swinger much easier and no ones going to blink an eyelid and many will think good for him

I doubt that a woman would approach me in the street & ask for sex (I live in hope) But some men would think it was ok to ask a woman for sex just because she`s on here.

If a man has sex with many women he`s a stud, But a woman risks the stigma of being labelled A slag or worse.

I work at a school and Nita works in a customer facing job for the local council. Even though we're not doing anything wrong, I don't imagine that our employers would be to pleased if they knew.

I've been recognised by people I've both played with and blocked..got very sketchy when you're followed to work with no escape..some propper weird people on here that can't take no for an answer..I'm sure it's just the same for women..it's just safer. 4) community

5) social standing in the immediate and further afield.

6) personal choice to not freely give away their images to the world (just cos the world is going social media crazy doesn't mean everyone chooses to put their family album for display as so to speak lol)

I've come up with 6 random reasons in 1min for why people may choose to remain faceless.

I agree I don't treat it differently either I havnt seen my mum for many years so it wasn't exactly something she'd approve of or not as case may be lol

I’m glad my mum is cool and accepts as long as I’m safe and happy, then she’s happy. Helps having quite a liberal family. really, well they do exist I have a friend in this lifestyle and her whole family knows, mum dad, daughter son, brother and his wife, her best friend and hubby, next door neighbour etc etc

Same with me. My housemates and other mates know as do most family. It’s no secret. I usually meet guys from here and some stay over lots and meet my friends and housemates. It’s pretty open as to where we met. They don’t bat an eyelid. They don’t see any difference between my fab dates and dating app dates. I don’t do anything differently. "

Yes, exactly my point. But guess what - they haven’t seen my face so they can’t approach me or follow me.

I show my face and usually have my profile unbidden with more favs pics. I’ve never had anyone approach me or had any weird encounters. Been doing the online thing since aol chat rooms in 2001 and never had any problems. Guess I’ve been lucky and chosen wisely who I meet. "

It's just not a risk I'm prepared to take. I've seen plenty of threads where someone has posted that they've recognised someone - and should they approach them or not?

In terms of meets, that's different - I've chosen to interact with them and show my face, that's why I take my time chatting a little first before meeting in person. I just don't want my face out there for anyone with a log on to see.

It’s a personal thing and something you’re entitled to do. I just have no reason not to have my face on show.
