I heard the government are considering banning these, personally I can see a reason to question this... but what’ll be next ban radios to dangerous to use? No sat nav?

The most distracting thing in a car is (fact) passengers.. so cars will only have 1 seat in future??

Where do you draw the line???

It won't happen.

It couldn't possibly be enforced fairly or correctly.

It did with me

Stay safe out there folks and concentrate on just your driving and what's going on around you.

There's nothing that's so important it won't wait until you pull up safely and check your phone for missed calls, texts, emails and voice messages

We had this yesterday my solution put phone in boot on silent for your journey, unless someone is in car with you that can answer it

I heard the same thing on radio while I was driving and thought the same thing.

Yes it's distracting having devices in your car but we should look at ways of improving how They interact with humans.

I find it crazy that I can reply by pre written text on my phone when someone rings and one of the pre written texts is "sorry I'm driving please call later"

But I have to swipe the screen scroll and press it to send it.. Which I find stupid.

End of day having hands free isn't as bad as having to look at a screen on a phone to interact.

Talking on hands free is only same as having a actual person in the car what they saying is the phone is the problem.

I just don't answer phone.

One I play music through the stereo via my phone and it's annoying when it gets interrupted.

And also use the sat nav on phone.

Where would they draw the line I do not know but I bet they find away to tax it

How did we manage just a relatively short time ago? Never had a problem turning phone/s off when in a car or handing it to the passenger/children. Not sure why everyone finds it so hard to switch off (and yes I'm self-employed, have my own business and work 7 days a week!)

There is an argument that a passenger is more aware of what you are doing.

So at a roundabout won't ask you something etc.
