I got made redundant recently and I dont feel like I care about it. I should coz I hate unemployment but Im metally knackered from doing shit boring dead end jobs that I dont want to work anymore.

Anyone else been through this. Am i living in somekind of denial?

Ok, see it as a positive then, it's got you out of a job you hate and given you the opportunity/kick up the bum to try something new.

I was made redundant many years ago, had a young family, felt the same. Went back to college , and eventually university. Totally changed my career. Much happier.

I studied something I really wanted to but had never had the to follow it , but when made redundant took a chance. Change doesn't always have to be a negative.

Take time to think about what you really want to do not just a job to get some ready cash.

Redundancy was the best thing that ever happened to me. I started my own business and do work I love and get paid for it. That was nearly 24 years ago and I haven’t looked back since. I hope it all works out for the best for you.

I see it a positive and as im on forced leave I can explore some art projects I've been sitting on for ages. Im just surprised at my own attitude, its not like me

We have sold our house and moved fair way up North. Given us enough money to take good long break off of work. We both hated our jobs so decided enough is enough. I’m a skilled cabinet maker and when we get fully settled going to try work for myself because where ever you work there is always an asshole boss that makes you want to freak out.

Do you have any skills that you could use to start up on your own. Hope things go well for you and be positive things happen for a reason

Do you have any skills that you could use to start up on your own. Hope things go well for you and be positive things happen for a reason "
