Saturday started with watching big daddy wrestling on world of sport then some worzel gummage and some A team or night rider, then onto an evening of entertaining game shows, now its all just reality shows that are about as interesting as watching paint dry

Takeshi's castle is back this year! Coming from Thailand though, and I'm not familiar with their health and safety regulations. I'll be satisfied as long as I get to see someone shot in the nuts with a cannonball while crossing a narrow bridge!

"Sapphire and Steel. Was too young to really get it then.."

I loved Sapphire and Steel... Though quite why my parents let me watch it from the age of six is a bit of a mystery. Scared me half to death.

15 years ago I bought the entire run on DVD. There was talk of new episodes with David Mcallum and Joanna Lumley but nothing materialised on TV

Loved the show and theme tune, too. Was quite a fan of Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. Not to mention, John Barry’s James Bond music.

I would love to see Blake’s 7 and Reilly Ace of Spies come back or remade.

A proper conclusion to Twin Peaks and there was another series not so long ago that was cancelled after one series - 'outcasts' with Liam Cunningham: a sci-fi series that I felt had merit. Also, though John Thaw is irreplaceable, a new 'Morse' would be good. And 'The X-Files' of course

"Saturday started with watching big daddy wrestling on world of sport then some worzel gummage and some A team or night rider, then onto an evening of entertaining game shows, now its all just reality shows that are about as interesting as watching paint dry

I've got Worzel Gummidge boxset. Well worth a buy

They're doing a remake of it, looks absolute garbage, Jon Pertwee is the only guy who can play Worzel"

will put my drinking head on for this then

It's a knockout (the European ones) were brilliant and that commentators laugh was priceless

I can still picture people inside huge waiter costumes carrying trays, tripping and falling over and that guy couldn't speak for laughing

Bruce lee was turned down for that role but they tried to give David carradine slanty eyes instead. I did like that show tho.
