Do they work? One fun comment I saw was that the wife wanted sex but his favourite team was so he didnt have time for it until after the game lol. How do you work around it?

Pussy power wins over football in this house. My OH can't resist, no matter which team is playing.

Under the Duvet

Having had the misfortune to date three rabid footy fans in real life...(not all at the same time!)

In my experience the football fan either insists on watching the match or begrudgingly misses the match and sulks for the duration.

I don't get why so many blokes get so obsessed with football, I think it's shite!

Thankfully we both love football, so there's never an argument, we always watch the game first

I'm single but in the past I've been in this situation, football is a big passion of mine and has been since I was a child.

I work dam hard as do a lot of people so spending time with good friends going to home and away games is a much needed break and helps to relieve life's worries.

The offer of sex wouldn't take the place of my "me" time and if a gf was to get stroppy i would insist on sex while love Island was on just to see how she feels

Sometimes I want to watch it too, sometimes I don’t but I think if I wanted to play and it was on, he would either shut it off, or I might just suck his cock while he watched. Or I would wait . - Mrs

I just do something else while football nor F1 is on. It's not difficult what with me being able to amuse myself for a couple of hours and control my sexual urges for the duration of a match or race.

Having played football at a good standard, football was my life, both watching and playing.

Now I've grown up I can pause the football and have sex at the same time ha ha

I sometimes make my partner feel better if they are losing and I'll suck his cock. It takes his mind off the game and calms him down I think sexual favours are the only thing that cheers him up if his team is losing

If it wasnt football it would be something else I expect. Learn to embrace your differences. Lifes about compromise and moderation.

Led by his brain.

The knowledge that if he were to refuse during football, the offers of sex may suddenly disappear into the ether at any time.

He's a wise man.
