"There's no such thing as most effective. Everyone's body is different and will respond differently to various diets and exercises. That said cutting out soda would usually help A LOT. " That’s good advice! Fizzy drinks are terrible!!

"What are the most effective exercises and diets to achieve a defined six pack? " Depends entirely where you are in your fitness journey. My journey has lasted 3 years but it continues. The recent addition was my intermittent fasting which has made me alot more leaner around the waist but I do want to tighten further aroind the abs.

"It is easy, in order to show the 6pack, you have to be in a calorie deficit over a long time, usually this is about 3 to 4 months, times your weight in lbs by 14, this will give you a good starting point, each month evaluate and drop the calories accordingly, you may need to be there a longer time, depending on your goal, during this period, do more cardio train hard with frequency, a full body workout is a good, have one or 2 cheat meals a week, to track your macros I suggest using mynetdiary, it is interactive and fun to use " And there it is, written down. Can't ask for more. What are the chances though of somebody following this who is only wishing 6 pack abs. I'd say next to none simply on the basis that it takes a mindset revolution and a burning desire. The latter would see a person actually make headways to research on their own and do the necessary. i.e. talk the talk and walk the walk. Good luck to the OP. As Nike say, "Just do it!" As I'd say, "Make it your lifestyle choice, just do it all the time"
