...should remove the possibility to tilt seats back.

I just got home from a longhaul flight, and I once again realised this. I feel it's such a dick move to tilt in back when here's someone behind you, as modern flights have so little space per passenger already!

What do you think? I have half a mind to start guerrilla-breaking the buttons to just remove the functionality

I think folk ought to just let the person behind know that they're going to tilt back. It just needs a little consideration on everyone's part.

Although, I turn left when on board so don't have that problem on the lie-flats.

Yeah! I feel uncomfortable doing that too. Good neck rests are a worthwhile investment not to mention being far better than relying on a 5° tilted chair.

Yeah, would be nice, but sadly not viable on a PhD student salary! Not for the longhaul anyway. But in a further future I'll give it a go!
