Not as good as the early albums,it's not got the rawness, venom, anger or soul of Slipknot,Iowa etc but it's still a quality album.Change of direction always tend to happen once the lineup starts to deviate, sometimes disastrously but so far so good with the 'Knot

NOTTINGHAM

Played drums in a screamo/ post hardcore band for around 10 years. Loved every minute of it. Met some cool people and played with some decent bands.

Rolo Tomassi and Pulled Apart By Horses are two that stand out for me, especially Rolo. The female vocalist was mind blowing.

Haven't played for 5 years now, miss it terribly

Old school Rocker, don't let the dressing fool you bands I've seen at various concerts

Thin Lizzy

Black Sabbath

AC/DC

Saxon

Gillan

Hawkwind (although at a rally and I was off my head during their set)

Obviously my Spotify has plenty of old school rock, but not against modern stuff either

We both love metal. Everything from Dio, Faith no more, foo fighters, maiden, rammstein, motley to Ac/DC, Metallica to a name just a few.

Metal Bangers Orgy sounds good to bang to

Favourite track on the new album. How he can do the chorus is beyond me. Really hope they play it live.

It's also a cleverly written song with the backing lyrics towards the end (why did I not see your true face until it was too late)

Classic era:

Maiden

Dio

Celtic Frost

Mercyful Fate

Motorhead

Venom

Modern era:

Portal

Behemoth

Deathspell Omega

But as with all things, it's largely mood dependent, and I have equally punk/goth/synthwave tastes too.

Soft spot for stoner / doom. There’s barely a mood I can’t lift with a spot of Kyuss.

These days, I love working and writing to Sunn or the more ambient black metal.

AC/DC is my go-to gym music.

Download 2013...one guy just insisted on trying to crouch, I believe he was actively trying to trip people up... When people started to lean over him he would jump up to make them fall . Utter idiot... I advised him to stop.
