Fancu a change this weekend.. anybody know of any butchers in east midlands/east Anglia who have these for sale in their shops?

Can't be arsed to go to selfridges

A tasty blue legged variety which has protected status..

Pampered sort of chicken version of waghu

But, oh so tasty.. But oh so effing expensive

do they maybe wear onions round their neck, smell of garlic and come wrapped in a white flag

Same as asking why pay for grass fed Aberdeen Angus as opposed to old dairy cow at the end of her life

I worked in Lyon, back in the day, and had some, I couldn't believe the difference. My French collegues explained about the leg bones being thicker because they actually ran around due to the 100m of space each is allowed (or something like that).

It probably is no different to English chickens back in the day, but not now.

We don't have a butler, we have a handyman, cleaner, gardener..

Actually.. .. Goes and talks to Mrs new...

(we do have a "maid's room" in the house but we treat it as a storage room)
