More musical artistes have had better success with cover versions of Beatles songs than the original tracks.

Guns N Roses broke the beatles record for sales on the fastest selling albums with Use Your Illusion 1 and 2.

Whiney Aimhouse! (Yes I know she is dead! But I called her that when alive)

Adele is just an OK club singer, but I found that cos the kids liked a track or two, older people wanting to seem "trendy" also bought the recorings.

Lady Gaga.. Nuff said

U2.. same old.. same old.

Guns & Roses.. Just a noise from a HM band with a guy that has a voice that would strip paint!

Later years Elvis Presley.. Sorry, it just wasn't good anymore!

I'm not really sure... my first instinct was to say 'The Beatles' and 'Sting' and 'Pink Floyd' but obviously that was just cos I don't enjoy listening to them but it doesn't mean their not talented or that they are over-rated.

I don't have any musical talent whatsoever, so really I couldn't say if something was 'clever' or not

So... having thought hard about it, I would have to say

Kylie... she has released some really great 'pop' music, (none of it written by herself of course) but I think as far as performing goes, she's like cardboard and only some flashy editing in her vodeos makes her look interesting.

...same with Britney Spears... only more so, her dancing stinks and her voice is whiny

There are probably loads like them, I just can't think of 'em

Just not getting the hype surrounding him, never have never will.

Think its a bit like The Emperors New Clothes.

Same goes for Michael Buble.

Liam and Noel Gallagher are just a pair of gobshite fist magnets.

And rap music as a whole is absolute shite, just say any word that rhymes and but it to a, usually decent, piece of music that someone else wrote and had a hit with years before.

Sinatra, talked through his songs and would have got nowhere without Mafia backing.

Turn left at the Singing Ringing Tree

Whitney Houston. Saw her in concert, and when she came on stage surrounded by eight bouncers ...... should have known it could only get worse. Introducing the band took 30 minutes, she would then sing a hit song followed by two gospel numbers! In the end we didn't know whether to boogie or get on our knees and start praying.

real tough one to call as it's so subjective. Loads of folk slagging off Oasis but back in 1995 they were brilliant as pre-Brit pop music was utter shite. Unfortunately, their highs were the first two albums and the others that followed were frankly, rubbish.

I'd say Rod Stewart because while his early stuff and with the Faces was awesome, he has, in my eyes tarnished his standing with some pretty woeful stuff. If he'd quite in 1975 we would be saying how great he was.

Sometimes its the longevity that kills the act and they become almost a novelty, such as Status Quo. I was only about 3 when they were at their peak but they really, really rocked; now they are just a bit of a joke.

As for current stuff, cannot really talk too much as its not my taste but Adele seems to be one for me; I just don't get it and Michael Buble, well it is Mothers Day on Sunday and that seems to be the market for him!!!
