I've worked in retail for like 8 years, but I'm tired of it now. Currently doing an online course to become a Project coordinator. Not in retail though lol Where do you work?

I feel you, I don't mind dealing with customers. Even the pissed off ones, I've become so desensitized to work as of late that the annoyed customers really don't bother me, I don't care lol. It's just the orders, and putting it all away. It's just so mundane.

Hotel Management has been my career choice for most of my life.

But I've also worked in the Civil Service; in Security jobs in Retail, P&O Ferries, & Reckitt Benckiser, plus was Operations Manager for a Truckstop; Lottery Ticket Sales; and Recruitment.

I retire in May 2021 after 48 years in business from leaving school.

Recently realised I'm a freelancer.

So Art/Events/AV/Logistics/Hospo etc

Loads of crossover/different things within each - today I've been building a wall for an art event, the other week I was building stages for then filming a charity ball, often installing/running coffee machines at conferences. Who needs qualifications? Keeps me from getting bored.
