Depends what made it awful, if it was a case of the man just taking with little regard for the woman’s pleasure then obviously the mans, however if it’s a case of just not being compatible then both? Or no one? All circumstantial.

I think there are people out there who are "bad" at sex. It's all well and good saying it takes 2 but if the person you're with has no intuitive ability when it comes to reading people and their responses then it makes no difference what effort you put in.

You can learn tricks and techniques but you can't teach someone how to read body language and respond accordingly.

Sometimes people just turn out but to be compatible in the bedroom. It's nobody's fault.

Other times or can be that one party lied about their likes/skills or didn't put in the effort... Making fire disappointing sex.

Or sometimes neither partner puts in enough effort and what could have been good sex becomes mediocre.
