I detest driving since i fucked my shoulder up in 1999. But yesterday i was taken out for the day and in a friends field was told to conquer my fear and drive

I was buzzing for hours afterwards, he was shitting it as i put my foot down

But god i need to drive again

What fears have you conquered?

.

Well done!

I conquered my fear of things not going to plan unless I think them through and through a bit more and put my name down for a club night on a whim.

I go in three days! Exciting.

Being outside in thunderstorms. In fact, being indoors in thunderstorms. Had to get over the fear so I didn't pass it on to my children...

It was a very real fear. If I was out and I heard thunder I would literally freeze and turn into a frenzied fool, getting home exhausted from the fear and adrenaline.

I was made fun of for it by my family but I have been in a house on two occasions when it has been struck by lightning

Plus final destination was out at the time. I was convinced I was next

Mold

It's not that I hate heights .. but I don't like edges

Looking over them in particular....

So really proud of myself for doing the leap of faith at a high ropes course recently

Manchester (she/her)

I'm overcoming a fear of too much attention. A lifetime of trying to hide. I'm not there yet, but I'm a long way from where I was.

Ooh I hated feelings for a long time. Turns out, I didn't have enough good ones.

I haven’t. I never will.

I’m petrified of spiders, can’t touch them, hold them be in the same room as them.

The other is heights. A few weeks ago I failed walking up Peter pans tree house in Disney. Had to turn around and walk back down the entrance...past a bunch of really young kids.

Hiding in the shadows

I have a completly irrational fear of wasps

I've had CBT & been hy pnotised

Both failed

I'll stand up to any man in a bar fight, but a teeny yellow black stripey thing buzzs near me, and I'm a screaming sobbing flailing wreck!
