I’m heading to London for some work training, the train driver has just given us a lovely little intro which made me smile but so far not a single passenger has even made eye contact let alone crack a smile! How is your journey to work? Which mode of transport do you use and are you a happy traveler?

I drive, but I come off the motorway two junctions early

I could drive pretty much door to door on the motorway, but found I arrived at work a little stressy

Coming off two junctions early affords me the opportunity to drive through some semi rural areas

Doing that seems to make me far more affable when I take to my desk

I used to do the train into London and then the tube. Now I get into the car and drive for ten minutes. It's bliss.

It'll be the tube for me in an hour which is a great opportunity to make eye contact with the ladies and smile.

Eye sex better in evenings. xx

Most days, I cycle the 10 miles to work. I certainly cheers me up in the morning.

I drive, 15 minutes at peak times gets me to work or 7 - 8 minutes in the mornings. Driving relaxes me

Well I'm off for two weeks now so I don't have to worry about that. I usually drive. I was on the train to York last week and tried to be as friendly as possible albeit I find making that first interaction hard. Hope your journey gets better

I walk 1 1/2 miles to the station in the morning and evening for the commute into London and the journey home. Love the walk, gets my head straight in the morning, helps me relax on the way home.

I climb into my car, drive my car to where I work, get out of my car and walk into the office.

I get very little eye contact or smiles

My beautiful car was killed by a boy racer the other night, driving bores me after 20 odd years of it...but when recovery took my wheels I cried like a baby.....I may attempt a bus due to the fact the car I've been sent is like appolo 13 drives itself....

I travel by foot. It's a perilous journey, littered with obstacles. Cats sleeping, small person in close attendance, Lego bricks to step on.

The stairs to the office are treacherous

My favourite commute was by motorbike. A wheelie really sets you up for the day, especially if it’s on purpose

I (Luke) would be glancing at you even if I didn't catch your eye.

I usually cycle to work but having had a vasectomy a few days ago that's still a bit too jiggly for me.

So now I'm on the train and it's OK but costs me more money.

After my snip, I couldn't ride a bike for two weeks... although it was only two days before I was riding Anita

I get a lift from my partner most mornings and run home most nights. Which means minimal interaction with other people which suits me fine.

My favourite commute was when I was riding 14 miles each way, am active commute really does wake you up and I was stupidly fit

Oh I used to do that all time, regularly would catch the direct London train instead of the one I needed. Surpassed myself the time I was going on a course in Milton Keynes and ended up in fucking Crewe!!

I'm pretty chilled and happy traveller, like the down time.
