We was talking to a female yesterday that insisted on safe sex if we meet up, that is absolutely fine and cool with us..... But then she later went on to say she would want to suck my husbands cock without a comdom (also fine), he can cum in her mouth (fine again) and we can lick and play with each other as normal. Now this confused me some what, surely safe sex is 100% safe sex right??? I even asked about condoms on dildos and vibrators and she said that wouldn't be necessary. It's confused the hell out of us

We are happy to play without protection and will always use it if requested. In the past when it's been asked of us it's been with the toys protected and with my husband either cumming with the comdom on or over (not in the mouth) of the other lady involved.

Everyone will have their own opinion on the risks they are willing to take when it comes to safety.

It's just a case of speaking to people you plan to meet and see if their opinion is compatible with yours.

I think they is a difference between what is technically safe sex and what is genrally regarded as safe sex in most people's eye. I think for most people safe sex is just the use of condoms during vaginal and anal penetration with a penis. Which always goes to show it's always best to completely verify everyone's understanding in terms of safety.

Shared toy hygiene is often overlooked.

that's what I was thinking, to us safe sex is toys and everything not just for penetrative reasons.

The only true safe sex is no sex. There's 'safer' sex. Agree your boundaries with your partners.

Just because someone stated they do safe sex, doesn't mean they practice it all the time.

There are different levels of risk. A lot of people treat oral as if it's completely safe which it isn't. However, having protected sex and unprotected oral is safer than unprotected sex and unprotected oral. It's just a measure of the level of risk they are OK with. Each to their own. This level is not uncommon.

The toys thing is surprising if they are going to be shared.
