Morning all

So who's making or eating out today?

When having a roast dinner, what do you go for?

Personally I love a nice chicken breast ... No veg tho

Tend to do my self a roast chicken for Sunday so I can then have further meals from it for the beginning of the week.

On a mooch

A roast would be great.

Personally I love beef if going out, if cooking at home the lad loves chicken so that’s normally his request.

In the winter I do lamb or beef in the slow cooker and it’s all ready when we get home

Tower Bridge South

I was in M&S the other day and they had toad in the hole reduced so I'm cheating with that today.

If I make my own I prefer a pork joint marinated in cider overnight, then use the cider to make the gravy.

Getting hungry now....

In the middle

It’s chicken for us through the summer, it just seems a lighter meal than roast beef with all the trimmings

My Mr. Does the most mouth watering 'Heroin Chicken' with delicious roasts and gravy...

It has its name because of how ridiculously addictive it is.

You need to persuade someone to act as you personal chef for the afternoon!

Do live a good roast, but too much effort to make for just one.

Changed my mind, made a chicken and leek pie, and chicken parmigiana.

And balsamic roasted sausages with red veg.

I had a decent one in notting hill. Mixed roast beef, chicken and gammon with trimmings, stuffing, yorkie and all the tools. 20 quid though but that's now average in London

Fuck that I do a pulled pork roast with everything for 4 of us for around a tenner and there’s leftovers for tomorrow evening as well .

Blyth

Just had a full roast chicken dinner for the whole family.

Chicken gets oiled and then covered in sage, basil and paprika.

Maris piper potatoes get boiled for 3 minutes, dried, covered in oil, garlic puree and basil and then roasted.

Yorkshire puddings mix was made this morning equal quantities of plain flour, eggs and milk, mixed with a fork and then left in the fridge until an hour before cooking.

Gravy made with a mix of 'Busto Best', oxo cubes and sage, with a little butter whisked in just before serving.

I love cooking a roast dinner.
