Any other Karl Urban fans? Thought he was good in Star Trek, absolutely great in Dredd and now watching him in The Boys and he's brilliant.

He was great in Almost Human, too. Like Firefly, it deserved more than one series.

Cannot stand Super Hero, Marvel or DC boring tosh. However'The Boys' has won me over and Karl Urban (who also won me over in Dress) certainly helped.

I loved his version of Dredd was spot on, after that! Insult by stallone, it was a joy to see someone who actually knew the subject!

He was brilliant in the Bourne Supremacy, and a shout out to Red.

I collected the Boys from the first issue. I will wait to the box set is released to watch it.

The Boys is reminding me of No Heroics in some places; Heroes in some others.

Karl's getting lines on a par with some of the ones James Nesbitt got in Jekyll.

I've just started reading the comics and it is hilarious. Great story telling, easy to follow so far.

It is also easy to tell which superhero he is sending up. For those who don't know Garth Ennis wrote Preacher, that was made into a TV series. He also had the best run writing Hellblazer made into Constantine (a great film but not in any way the comic) and also the poorly received but in my view a great series.

If you want a comic series where people try and survive seriously scary zombies that not only want to kill you but also want to f@ck you try the original series of Crossed. It is completely unfilmable as it ticks off almost every taboo, unlike the very safe Walking Dead.
