Sorry but what is the point... It's so political I can't see us winning no matter who we send.

Bristol East

leave it alone lol

i love it

soooooooooo camp

I watch it for the frocks.

They're fabulous.

Couldn't care who wins, to be honest.

Some of the music is a bit iffy, sure.

But the outfits are gorgeous.

If you don't like it, don't watch it.

Even more reason not to watch it then, Norton annoys me more than Wogan!

How very dare you sir indeed!!!

Dont you no we have de sectioned our very own Engle Bot Hump ya Dog from the care home to represent us at this magnificent event. Pampers have even donated an extra large nappy should he get over excited as the curtain goes up.

Eurovision staged and rigged against the UK. How very dare you indeed sir

Let's face it, almost every act on Eurocrap wouldn't get past the first round of auditions on X Factor, and that's not hard.

If you look at it like that - what's the point of anything ?

It's there for those who want to watch it and for those who dont - they can watch something else.

You're right, OP, we probably won't win, but what the hell, I think it's expected that we won't win ... who cares ? at the end of the day it's only a bit of fun ...

Engelbert Humperdinck is old enough to remember Eurovision when it had its original name.

World War Two.

West

Biggest load of bollocks on the telly...its quite obvious we will never win it given our 'popularity'

The UK should turn around and tell to poke it..

On top of that...our songs are always crap anyway!

Hold on a sec... whats the point...

I just think the reasons of why eurovsion was created and what people loved about it in the beginning has been lost...

So the point has shifted and changed...

Don't take it as a negative I'm just saying it was very cool back in the day. Its a bit lost atm...

I think that with so many paths to fame and a recording contract, Eurovision has become somewhat pointless. Why we prop it up each year with the funding it gets from the UK is beyond me.

I imagine that, if you trace the history, it's part of the post-war integration of cultures, bringing people of Europe together instead of fighting etc
