I like them. I like it when people message me to say you look lovely in that photo or great post. You can tell when they are genuine, when they are unexpected? Even better. And most of the time they are no strings. I message people a lot to say I like photos when I do because I do. I had a lovely chat with someone because I really liked her hot pics photo and her lingerie - it wasn't because I wanted to meet, more because I wanted to know where her robe was from.

All are meant as no strings, as I'm usually way past the upper age limit for most

Still I enjoy sending a compliment where a compliment is due.

Nothing wrong with it at all and yes it can be done with no agenda but its the nature of this site for folks to want to sweet talk a fuck so i get why people are funny about receiving them

From time time I get a message from a guy saying something like "I know I am not your type or you wouldn't meet me, but just wanted to say I like your pictures, you look beautiful and seem lovely". Or guys liking my statuses as it makes them laugh.

I appreciate these random messages and I let them know that.

Fab Rule 277: Concerning the sending of a compliment.

Rule 277 states that the sending of a compliment by a single man is a not so subtle way of saying "fancy a fuck".

Conversely Rule 277 goes on to say that the sending of a compliment by a single woman or couple is quite simply that, a message of appreciation regarding the recipients photographs or site behaviour and should be received with good grace

Rule 277 is closely aligned to Rule 9: Concerning the fabbing of a picture

I tend not to reply, unless it’s someone from the forum (and even then I might not reply).

I used to; but they would always try continue chatting and asking to meet...not very ‘no strings’

I like to send messages and Im not afraid to give compliments.. I only say them if genuine. I would say the majority of the time if I send a message of that type there is no ulterior motive.. If I send a message to start chatting then that's different... With that I might be hoping to see what response I get etc.

I like receiving compliments, and always accept them with good grace. I also give compliments, even to people that i'm not interested in meeting...a good picture or post is just that, regardless of whether I want to do rudies with the poster or not.

I also see fabs on pictures as compliments, and will always Fab a picture I like while i'm scrolling

I often give people compliments either because they’ve written something on the forum that I like or they’ve piqued my interest so I’ve checked their profile out. This has led to some great conversations.

I also love getting compliments of a similar fashion.

Rubbish at receiving compliments, go all a bit ‘huh why?’. Quite like giving compliments of something makes me smile or I think someone has gone out of their way in my view. Nothing is expected in return as far as I go, be a bit weird that.

On my single profile I used to receive messages about my posts etc and just random chats about topics.

Since we opened the couples profile there have been hardly any messages along those lines, does that mean that the messages were not really 'just chatting'? Who knows, I do find it curious though as I don't think my posting has changed.
