Right you lot

Remedies for chafing thighs?

I’ve tried all the ‘normal’ remedies, and I’ve just went and bought anti-chafing bands to see if they work. Has anyone used them before?

My thighs are usually awful in the summer, but for obvious reasons, this summer has been the worst. I’m in bloody agony

Ooh I hear you....it sucks...I've walked home from work in hot weather looking like John Wayne's just been shot up the jacksie!

Aside from a cool bath and moisturising lotion....takes the edge off a bit....I dunno...apparently talc can help? But then that's likely to just turn into paste!

I can’t even see my thighs where it rubs so my poor husband is rubbing talc (that we bought for the baby!) on my thighs before and after we leave the house

I’ve got a pair in my ASOS basket, I’m hoping these bands work, they look like the top of stockings and are quite wide, but if they don’t I’m ordering them!

Short leggings under dresses and skirts. There are all sorts of lotions and potions for all sorts of reasons, but nothing works better than the leggings. They also absorb excess sweat if it's particularly warm.

It was such a huge thing several years ago.

I wish I knew what I know now. I have big thighs. It's not a moral failing. Deal.

I remember girls at school being obsessed with having a thigh gap

I like my thighs, no gap at all, just annoying in the summer

I bought bepanthan, sudocreme and the yellow cream (can’t remember what it’s called but it’s amazing on baby’s bums) for the baby and I’ve opened them all to try and use on my thighs

I use a wee bit of Vaseline when I'm wearing a kilt.

Lycra boxers hillwalking.

And I can't remember the name of the anti-chaffing stuff I had with my triathlon wetsuit. There are various brands tbh, so worth a Google.

Nothing worse than having to walk like John Wayne with a tattie up his ass!

Asda little angels liquid talc. It's 87p but hard to get hold of. I used it in Tenerife, including walking 16,000 steps one day in a short dress and just reapplied everytime I used the ladies room. My thighs would normally be ripped apart

I bought a pair of shorts from boohoo, they have been a life saver and they were only £4.50! They are quite thin material so they don't make me too hot.

There’s something called ivyverdure chafing stick that you just rub on your thighs and apparently it works wonders, I’ve never used it myself but my sister swears by it x
