Walsall

I’m currently holidaying in Scotland, and today I visited Edinburgh (been several times before) however today I made my way around to the beautiful grave yards here.

I could walk/sit looking at the old graves and tombs for hours. I find them hugely relaxing and amazing to admire.

Anyone else do this?

Yeah, wondering about the life they had, sometimes it heartbreaking when they were young. Similar to looking into family history

You should do the ghost tour they do. You visit graveyards at night. Obviously not ideal in the Summer months, want it nice and dark

North Bucks

I mow the lawn in my village graveyard.

The old dude who used to do it struggled one day so I helped him out and the sneaky bugger somehow angled me into it weekly.

The Highgate cemetery guided tour was one of the best things I have ever done. The history and symbolism on the graves are really interesting.

Somewhere near here

I find them beautiful places with so much history. I wonder of the lives they lead; their homes, jobs, relationships, religion, how they died etc. They’re fascinating.
